Study Tables

Study tables- aggghhh. That is all I can say. Six hours a week outside of class and practice is hard to reach. It seems like there aren't enough hours in the day. If all the hours aren't met then no competition. It is crazy. So much stress comes with athletics, but it will all be worth it. So here I go, headed to study tables again, and every other night this week. =) No talking, no phones, no labtops, nothing. Whoohoo.

  1. You run track for Ball State? I was considering doing pole vault for track here. Is it too late to try out/ when are try outs?

  2. No it is not too late. You just have to contact the coaches. We have been in conditioning for about 3 weeks already but I am sure they would take newcomers =)

  3. I hear you girl study tables are the absolute worst. I'm a swimmer and we have to complete eight hours every week and it seems like torture. Most of my classes are online so when I go to study tables I feel like I am not getting anything accomplished and just putting myself more behind. 20 hours of practice a week and study tables and well we haven't even started our meets yet. Study tables really are the worse. I understand they are trying to help kids become better studiers, but I already know how to study so why do I have to go out of my way to the library to do so. Well I guess we just have to do what we got to do. Since, we want to be able to play the sport we love.

  4. Wow Breanna I feel bad for you I can always help you study if you need me! I wish you didn't have to go to study tables but it is kind of a good idea to make sure you get your work done because sometimes when your by yourself it is hard to stay focused but when you have nothing else to do you have to do homework!
