"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in getting up everytime we do" -confucius
Everyone makes mistakes and everyone fails. It isn't about failing but about what we do once we fail. You have to get up, brush yourself off, and pick up the pieces. Glory is in the one who confidently accepts his failures and turns them into progress not one who never fails. If there was no such thing as failure then there would be no such thing as success.

girl, that confucius quote is beast.
ReplyDeletealso, mad agreement.
you portreyed the meaning of the quote well.
Personally, i agree with every word you said. I never thought that if there was no such thing as failure there would be no such thing as success. I just thought that there was no such thing as failure no one would care about anything and you wouldn't be able to make yourself the best you can. I guess that's kind of the same thing but a better way to put it!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you. If with failure comes either two outcomes. Either you except it and fade back into the crowd or you learn from your experiences and stand out as a self improving person. If failing means nothing to you then you will never improve in anything.
ReplyDeleteThat's really good, I really do agree with this post. However, just because of my personality, it is probably one of the hardest things for me to. I think it is because I grew up with a dad that is soo competitive. All I grew up on is the winning is the only way mentality. I think wrestling really helped me. I was JV 8th grade to sophmore year. I think that was the biggest life changer for me. I looked at my wrestling career and decided to make a change. I dedicated my life to the sport and ended up doing pretty good. Quotes like this one makes me realize that failing is really okay. Its just hard to accept failure when I do fail. Great Post, very inspirational.
